Thursday results + Friday map
The Thursday stage was a bit longer, but was mostly on the same route. The surface was even more icy and harder and the race became challenge for many although 23 km can seem to be quite a short distance. Some of the carts did not manage it to the finish and all the mushers were happy to be back in Destne after some hours on the trail.
The stage today was shortened to 17 km and as you can see on the map here under it is again on the same trail. There were many options considered include riding it in opposite direction, but at the end the stage was shortened.
